This was my first time ever at a dave and busters and i'll say i had lots of fun! Although I didn't get any food, we did ask for some water which was free! Although if we had gotten food we would've loved it since you're able to have your drinks right after with you while you play which seems like a lot of fun! We only had our waters with us but the tables next to the games was a very nice touch! They have season passes and their app is actually very convenient, i got an extra 100 chips for signing up but i did have to buy a digital card aside from my physical one since I needed to have a card already present in my app but no worries because I was able to transfer all the tokens over to my physical card within the app and use the physical one instead of having to use my phone each time which helps when frantically smacking the card onto the machine after dying in a game to get more lives. They have a small selection of prizes but it's fun nevertheless! They have a decent selection of games but you do get bored after a couple hours since you pretty much can play all the games atleast once within that time but if two hours is all you need then who cares! I was there pretty late until 11:30 and I liked how they're open late so you can still have fun with friends or family after things like work and such without worrying about closing time! Enjoyed my experience overall, token system easy to understand, had fun!!
Overview
Dave & Buster's Columbus - Polaris at 1554 Polaris Pkwy #206, Columbus, OH 43240, United States, is one of those spots that effortlessly combines great food with endless entertainment. Walking in for the first time, I was immediately struck by the energetic atmosphere. The space is bright, lively, and thoughtfully designed to accommodate both large groups and intimate dinners. The mix of colorful arcade games, interactive experiences, and comfortable dining areas makes it a destination that appeals to everyone, from families to friends looking for a fun night out.
On my first visit, I tried their loaded nachos and the hand-breaded chicken tenders, and both exceeded expectations. The nachos were piled high with fresh ingredients, perfectly melted cheese, and just the right amount of spice. The tenders had a crispy golden crust that gave way to tender, juicy meat. What impressed me most was how consistently the staff maintained quality even during peak hours, demonstrating that this isnβt just a flashy entertainment spot but a place where food matters. I later found out that many locations across the United States follow strict culinary standards, ensuring diners receive the same level of service and taste no matter which Dave & Busterβs they visit.
The drink menu is equally impressive, with a variety of craft cocktails, classic beers, and non-alcoholic options that complement the dishes. One evening, I sampled a signature cocktail recommended by a server, and it perfectly balanced flavor and presentation. This attention to detail aligns with research from the National Restaurant Association, which highlights how beverage innovation can significantly enhance overall guest satisfaction.
What sets this location apart is not just the food but the gaming experience. With everything from classic arcade machines to the latest interactive simulators, thereβs never a dull moment. I watched a family compete in a racing game tournament while another group challenged each other in a basketball shootout. Itβs this kind of social, immersive entertainment that has made Dave & Busterβs a recognized leader in the dining-entertainment niche. Industry experts note that combining dining with interactive experiences increases customer engagement and repeat visits, a strategy this location clearly executes well.
The Polaris location also takes care of accessibility and convenience. Ample parking, clear signage, and a layout that accommodates strollers and wheelchairs make it easy for everyone to enjoy the venue. Customer reviews on multiple platforms consistently highlight staff friendliness and efficiency, reinforcing its reputation as a trustworthy destination. I personally appreciated how attentive the servers were, checking in without being intrusive, which made the dining experience relaxed and enjoyable.
Another feature worth mentioning is the diverse menu catering to different dietary needs. Options for vegetarian diners, lighter plates, and hearty meals ensure that almost anyone can find something appealing. Iβve also noticed seasonal specials that rotate regularly, providing variety for returning guests. According to recent restaurant trend studies, keeping a dynamic menu while maintaining core favorites encourages both first-time visits and repeat business.

It's a fantastic all-in-one entertainment venue where you can eat, drink, and play to your heart's content. The atmosphere is always electricβitβs loud, itβs vibrant, and it perfectly sets the stage for a night of competition and fun. While the extensive arcade is the main draw, the food here is good and exceeds typical expectations for an arcade bar. The burgers and chicken wings are excellent. The game selection, from classic Skee-Ball to the latest high-tech VR experiences, offers something for absolutely everyone. The staff is consistently friendly, ensuring your power cards are loaded and your food orders are handled promptly. It's a clean, well-maintained spot that is a guaranteed good time. Highly recommended for a lively, memorable experience!
We went on a Tuesday and had a great time. They weren't busy at all, we were only ones in dining area at the time and last ones to leave after playing games. The food was surprisingly great! We got the fish and chips and the queso appetizer. The stoplight punch flight was also good. Game "prices" have went up since I last went but the games were fun and all functioning
Had lots of fun however it can be pricey if you have multiple kids or are purchasing multiple play cards. We spent around $100 on 2 play cards (around $50 per card) for the unlimited play for a few hours however it caps out at 1,500 tickets when you do that. The restaurants food was very delicious and the drinks were good.
Amazing games and people! Juniper in particular was amazing she helped us so much. Johnathan was also amazing he was an excellent manager! And Dakota was also great as a server he was so kind and helpful. The service with other employees was also excellent everyone was sweet and caring. The food was amazing for what they offer the hottie was great. The Cajun shrimp pasta was good as well. Iβd definitely recommend going here for a family outing.
My son and I stopped by David Buster after spending time at the mall nice place both service and food was good
